The City Council met in a special session on the 22nd day of
February, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Fire Hall.
Present: Councilman Todd Harrington, Fire Chief Chad Freeburg,
Asst. Ambulance Director Mike Landuyt and City Clerk Paula
McGarvey
Also present: Eugene Swanson, Doug Krentz, Kevin Jenniges,
LaMoine Meyer, Bill Otto and Mike Carlson.
Councilman Todd Harrington(acting Mayor) presided at the meeting
The purpose of the meeting was to approve the Fire and Ambulance
Budgets for 2011 with the townships. Discussion was held on
re-establishing the vehicle replacement fund for the Fire
Department which will start again in 2012.
Motion to approve the Fire Budget of $45,895.00 by Kevin
Jenniges, second by Billy Otto. All voted in favor, motion
carried.
Motion to approve the Ambulance Budget of $38,989.00 by Eugene
Swanson, Second by Bill Otto. All voted in favor, motion
carried.
Motion to Adjourn by Kevin Jenniges, second by Eugene Swanson.
All voted in favor, motion carried.
